A De-centralised autonomous farming organization a.k.a DAFO connecting Livestock Farm Buyers to Hog Farms in Bacolod, Philippines.
Who Are We
We are a decentralised pig farm organization co-op that connects investors to pig farms in Philippines.
Our strong relationship with the local pig farmers puts us in a very unique position to help these small farmers scale up their farms to address a growing USD 1.8 billion dollar market locally.
Our Goals
We plan to help these farmers to also co-op with the Negros governing body to co-build their own internationally recognized AAA slaughter house and meat processing plant for international exports from Philippines. .
The DAFO will connect with DOA Philippines and match them with other ASEAN Partners who will import Philippines Hogs and we will ensure traceability through block chain recording the origins, the processed pork and all required swine flu testing and Covid-19 swab test for samples and packing.
Our Fee Structure
Unlike many intermediaries, we are transparent with our fees structure. we only ask for a 10% commission fee for help to connect and maintaining this website portal.
This means that out of what the farmers give out in confidence, there will be a deduction of 10% from the pay-outs as the projections goes.
This also would helps contributors understand upfront that there will be a commission fee required and therefore, no grounds for assumption due to our openness to reveal what we charge.
Farmer's Assurance
Here at the farms, we are committed to investors. With our proven inhouse farm management methodologies for 4 years, we are extremely confident of the promised returns through the sale of the investors pigs. We also give out our assurance by collateralising our own existing farms sows for any loss of investors’ sows(mother pigs). Risk management advice: This assurance does not cover any forms of act of God disasters that may wipe out the entire island’s or farms’ pig population.
